Doesn't age verification mean surveillance?

No, not the way it should be built. Scytáles verifies age through the EU Digital Identity Wallet using open standards. A platform asks one question, "is this person old enough?", and receives one answer: yes or no.

No identity document is shared. No name, date of birth, or personal data passes between the wallet and the platform. Nothing is stored. Nothing can be leaked, subpoenaed, or hacked, because there is nothing to find. For developers, it integrates in minutes with five lines of code.

  • verified_user

One question, one answer. The platform asks: is this user old enough? The wallet answers yes or no. Nothing else passes.

  • lock

Zero data stored. No identity document, no personal data, no database. There is nothing to leak.

  • bolt

Five lines of code. Integration takes minutes. The check takes seconds. Free up to 1,000 verifications a month.

  • gavel

Built on the EU's own framework. Scytáles was appointed by the European Commission as lead developer for the EU Digital Identity Wallet and pan-European age verification.
